So, it ends today. The final issue of Young Allies, that’s #6, hits stores. Tears, tears, tears. The characters were absolutely awesome and the series was something really great being built… And that’s all Sean McKeever’s merit. But that’s bussiness, the series didn’t make the sales cut and so it had to end. Does that mean there’s no more Young Allies for you rabid, faithful fans out there? Absolutely not! As you can see in Humberto Ramos’ beautiful cover piece here, my dear Allies have their share of action in the upcoming Onslaught Unleashed series by Master McKeever and art by Filipe Andrade. AND they’ll be teaming up with the stars of Avengers Academy against Arcade. So, the series is over but their adventures certainly are not. And that’s OK because these kids, the Allies… Man, they’re so cool! As for the soundtrack, I’m writing this farewell post as a version of “Don’t you forget about me” by the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra sounds via Spotify. Makes sense to me, I kept going back to The Breakfast Club (and the Veronica Mars series) for the whole run!

Also, with the whole series out there, it’s original art time! You can download the original art catalog updated with the Young Allies run and get yourselves some of the original pencil pages of the series. And pretty soon, those same pages will be in exhibition at the Galleries section. Just a little patience, ladies and gentlemen. They’re a lot of pages!

Bueno, pues hoy termina. El número final de Young Allies, el 6, sale hoy a la venta en USA. Una penica. Los personajes son una gozada y estaba construyendose algo estupendo, por obra, gracia y mérito del señor Sean McKeever… Pero las ventas mandan. ¿Quiere eso decir que los Jóvenes Aliados se diluyen en el olvido? ¡No señores! Como pueden ustedes ver en la espectacular portada de Humberto Ramos, los chavales van a tener su correspondiente meneo en la serie Onslaught Unleashed, escrita por el Maestro McKeever y dibujada por Filipe Andrade. Y además, harán equipo con los protas de Avengers Academy contra Arcade. Así que si, la serie se acaba pero sus andanzas siguen. Y eso es bueno, porque los chavales molan. Y respecto a la banda sonora, escribo este post de despedida al ritmo de una versión de la Royal Philarmonic Orchestra del “Don’t You Forget About Me”. De verdad, tiene sentido. ¡Durante toda la serie no hacia mas que revisar El Club de los Cinco (y Veronica Mars un poco, tambien)!

Además, que no todo son penas, al acabar la serie ya pueden salir a la venta las páginas originales. Podéis descargar el catálogo actualizado con la serie enterita regalaros una buena paginaza. En breve, esas mismas páginas estarán también en la sección de Galerías, pero tengan ustedes un poco de paciencia que son muchas páginas por subir.
