“Nomad: Girl without a world” es el titulo de la miniserie de cuatro números que, empezando en Septiembre, contará las idas, venidas, venturas, desventuras y nuevas identidades de Rikki Barnes. Rikki, para quien no lo sepa, es la muchacha que se hacía llamar Bucky en el universo de Heroes Reborn, y que por causas muy complicadas para describir ha acabado como una inmigrante cualquiera en el Universo Marvel “normal”. ¿Y esto a qué viene? ¡Pues viene a que (como se ha comentado ya) servidor será el encargado de ilustrar esa miniserie! Los guiones son de Sean McKeever, que comenta los temas de la mini en esta entrevista. El jefazo de Marvel, Joe Quesada, tambien da alguna que otra pista en esta edición de su Cup O’Joe en CBR. Y no solo eso, sino que además enseña el diseño que he preparado para el nuevo traje de Nomad, que tienen aqui mismo tambien. Y al lado, la ilustración de la portada del primer número, obra de Rafael Albuquerque.

P.D.: Dirán ustedes que no soy objetivo, y tendrán razón. Pero en serio: los guiones son excelentes, y es muy muy complicado no tomarle cariño a Rikki. Y observen que no digo Bucky o Nomad.

“Nomad: Girl without a world” is the title of the miniseries that, beginning September, tells the doings and facts and adventures and misfortunes and identity changes of Rikki Barnes. For those who don’t know her, Rikki is the girl that went under the alias of Bucky in the Heroes Reborn Universe. For reasons too hard to describe, she has ended up in the “normal” Marvel Universe just like any other alieanted inmigrant. Why do I tell you this? Well, because it is me who will be pencilling the miniseries! It is written by Sean McKeever, who spills the beans of the tale in this interview. Marvel’s big boss, Joe Quesada himself, comments the mini in this edition of CBR’s Cup O’ Joe here. And he shows the design I’ve prepared for Nomad’s new suit too. Along with the design, here’s also Rafael Albuquerque’s cover for issue #1.

P.S.: You might say I’m not objective and you might very well be right. But I really mean it: the script is excellent, and make it very very hard not to be very fond of Rikki. And please notice I don’t refer to her as Bucky or Nomad.
